Which MOM passes does this work for?
All of them: Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, Work Permit (WP, including migrant domestic workers), Dependant's Pass (DP), Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) issued by MOM, Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), and Training Employment Pass (TEP). MOM uses one shared photo spec across every pass type.
What if MOM rejects my application because of the photo?
If the photo is the cause of rejection, send us proof within 30 days and we'll refund your S$5.90 in full — or redo the photo at no charge. (We can't help with non-photo rejection reasons — those are outside our control.)
What dimensions does the MOM e-Service portal require?
400×514 px JPEG, max 60 KB, white background. The MOM portal enforces all three. Our pipeline encodes the output to fit comfortably under 60 KB while preserving sharpness.
How recent does my photo need to be?
Within the last 3 months. MOM enforces this at the portal upload step.
I wear glasses — will that be a problem?
Clear-lens prescription glasses are typically accepted if both eyes are clearly visible. Tinted lenses, sunglasses, and frames covering the eyes are NOT allowed. Our pre-check flags these for you. (If your application is for an immigration / border-control role, retake without glasses to be safe.)
Can I wear religious headwear?
Yes. Hijab, turban, kippah, and other religious head coverings are accepted. Face must remain fully visible from forehead to chin.
My employer is uploading the application — can they use this photo?
Yes — most MOM applications (EP, SP, DP, WP) are submitted by the employer or sponsor through the EP eService. Email the file we send you to your HR / sponsor; they upload it directly through the portal. The file is the right format and size — no conversion needed.
Do you keep my photo?
