Common questions
What if my US visa application is rejected?
If the photo is the cause of rejection, send us proof within 30 days and we'll refund ₱159 in full — or redo the photo at no charge. Note: we can only refund photo-caused rejections, not visa decisions.
Why is the US visa photo square (51×51 mm)?
The US Department of State uses a 2×2 inch square format — different from the 35×45 mm rectangle most other countries use. We crop and produce the photo in the correct square aspect automatically.
I wear glasses — will that be a problem?
Yes — the US has banned glasses for visa photos since November 2016. No exceptions for clear-lens prescription glasses. Coloured contacts also forbidden. Remove glasses for the photo.
What dimensions does the US Department of State require?
51×51 mm (2×2 inch) square print equivalent. Digital file 600×600 px minimum to 1200×1200 px maximum, JPEG only, MAX 240 KB. Plain white or off-white background. We deliver a file that meets all of these for DS-160 upload.
Can I use this photo for visas to other countries?
No — this is the US 51×51 mm square format only. Schengen, Canada, Japan, and Australia use the smaller 35×45 mm rectangle with their own rules. Separate options for those countries are coming soon.
Do you keep my photo?
Auto-deleted within 7 days. Never sold, never shared. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
