What if my e-VOA application is rejected?

Why e-VOA and not Indonesian passport?
Indonesian paspor RI photos are captured live at the kantor imigrasi during your biometric appointment — there's no digital upload channel. The e-VOA (Visa on Arrival) is the only official Indonesian government photo that accepts digital submission.
I wear glasses — will that be a problem?
Yes — Imigrasi guidance for the e-VOA prohibits all glasses, INCLUDING clear-lens prescription glasses. Coloured contact lenses are also forbidden. You'll need to remove glasses for the photo.
Can I wear a hijab?
Yes, hijab is permitted, but it must cover the hair through to the neck. Turban-style with the neck exposed has been documented as rejected at Kanim Jakarta Selatan. Forehead must remain visible.
What dimensions does Imigrasi require?
35×45 mm print equivalent (413×531 px digital), JPEG, MAX 200 KB (much tighter than SG/MY), pure white background. We tune file size to deliver under 200 KB while preserving sharpness.
Can I wear white clothing?
No — Imigrasi explicitly prohibits white clothing because it blends with the white background. Wear a coloured top.
